The behaviours permitted and prohibited on CAQA Online and the portal environments we host.
This Acceptable Use Policy explains how CAQA Online, part of CAQA Groups and operated by Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238), expects this website and the portal environments we host to be used. CAQA Online provides online portals, account access and digital environments for learners, trainers, providers and support teams, and those environments hold information that matters to real people: enrolments, assessment results, attendance, messages and personal details. This policy exists to protect that information, the people it belongs to and the stability of the platform itself. It applies to every visitor to this website and to every account holder in a portal environment we host.
Our users include learners completing courses through a learner portal, trainers and assessors marking and giving feedback, staff and administrators managing enrolments, timetables and reporting, parents and employers viewing progress dashboards, and provider administrators configuring their organisation's digital campus. Education providers that engage CAQA Online agree to make this policy known to the users they authorise. If you are unsure whether an action is acceptable, ask your administrator or contact us before proceeding.
You may use this website to learn about our portal, LMS implementation, integration and hosting services, request a demonstration campus, subscribe to our newsletter and contact our team. You may use a portal environment for the educational and administrative purposes for which your account was issued: studying, submitting assessments, marking, messaging, viewing progress, managing enrolments and the other functions your role permits.
When using this website or any CAQA Online portal environment, you must not:
Users are responsible for the material they upload or transmit, including assessment submissions, messages, discussion posts and files. Content must be lawful, honest and appropriate to an education setting. Providers are responsible for the configuration and content of their own portal environment. We may remove or quarantine content that appears to breach this policy and will notify the relevant provider administrator when we do.
We log platform activity for security, support and reliability purposes and may investigate suspected misuse. Depending on the severity of a breach we may issue a warning, restrict features, suspend or terminate an account, notify the provider's administrators, or, where the law requires or permits, report the matter to police or a regulator. Where a provider's own policies also apply, such as a student code of conduct, the provider may take its own action in parallel.
No payments are taken through this website, and portal environments must not be used to run commercial activities unrelated to the provider's educational purpose. Fees for portal services are handled under written agreements between CAQA Online and each provider, not through this site.
If you see content or behaviour that appears to breach this policy, or you believe an account has been compromised, report it to your provider's administrator and to us. Email info@caqa.com.au, call 1800 266 160 or use our contact page. We treat reports confidentially and act quickly where user safety or data security is at risk.
